AI-Powered Tool Audits Motoko Code on ICP, Giving Developers a Security Boost

A new app built on Caffeine AI is catching attention among Internet Computer (ICP) developers for taking the pain out of code audits. Created by @AmSpeed_, the tool automatically reviews Motoko code, flags issues, and even provides ready-to-use fixes that developers can copy and paste directly into their projects.

The app goes a step further by issuing a security badge once a project passes its audit. That badge can be embedded into the dApp itself, giving users a visible layer of assurance. It’s a small but smart addition that adds credibility to open-source and Web3 projects running on ICP.

The process is simple: upload a Motoko file—or even a zipped folder of files—and the app handles the rest. Depending on file size, the audit can take up to a minute, so users are advised to keep a cup of coffee nearby while they wait.

The project is now listed on DappDash.com and available to try at motocode-8lb.caffeine.xyz. Developers can also contribute prompt tips within the app to help improve future audits, creating a more collaborative tool over time.

For ICP’s growing builder community, this is a practical example of how AI can streamline quality control without sacrificing decentralisation or transparency. It’s the kind of utility that makes coding a little easier—and a lot more secure.

Dear Reader,

Ledger Life is an independent platform dedicated to covering the Internet Computer (ICP) ecosystem and beyond. We focus on real stories, builder updates, project launches, and the quiet innovations that often get missed.

We’re not backed by sponsors. We rely on readers like you.

If you find value in what we publish—whether it’s deep dives into dApps, explainers on decentralised tech, or just keeping track of what’s moving in Web3—please consider making a donation. It helps us cover costs, stay consistent, and remain truly independent.

Your support goes a long way.
