Anda Bot 0.14.5 Introduces Shared Memory Across AI Agents

Anda Bot has released version 0.14.5, introducing shared memory that allows AI agents such as Claude Code, Codex and other MCP-compatible clients to access and contribute to the same memory system.
The update allows users to connect external agents using the anda memory agents add command. Once connected, an agent receives a token that allows it to recall information stored by Anda. With the additional --write option, agents can also save their own notes, which are attributed to the relevant agent and can be reviewed in the Memory workspace.
Access tokens expire after 90 days, and users can revoke access immediately when required, providing control over which agents can use the shared memory.
The release also introduces improvements to long-running tasks. A step list now appears above the message box to help users track progress, while context compaction takes place at task boundaries rather than in the middle of a task. The changes are designed to help maintain continuity during more complex workflows.
File access has also been expanded. The new read_file and search_file tools allow chats to access files within their project folders, while Desktop users can open files directly from chats without an attached project.
Anda has also updated its DeepSeek integration. When a tool joins an ongoing conversation, the system can preserve the prompt cache when using DeepSeek Flash at maximum effort. Background risk checks have also been changed to stop the model’s thinking process.
The cross-agent memory feature is the central addition in version 0.14.5, allowing users to move between different AI tools while retaining access to shared information. By making agent contributions identifiable and allowing access to be revoked, Anda aims to give users greater control over how memory is shared across their AI workflows.
