Over 400 students at The British University in Egypt (BUE) completed their final graded assignments using Caffeine AI, marking a first for the university and the region as an entire faculty formally integrated an AI tool into its coursework.
The initiative generated over 200 submissions in just four days and was supported by the Internet Computer (ICP) Hub Egypt engineering team. They conducted a series of intensive workshops guiding students, faculty members, and curriculum leaders in using Caffeine AI for creative problem-solving, rapid prototyping, and project development.
The collaboration has opened up new possibilities for how students can approach creation and experimentation within academic settings. By embedding AI tools into the learning process, BUE is equipping students with practical skills that mirror real-world innovation cycles and emerging digital workflows.
Following the success of this pilot, BUE and ICP Hub Egypt plan to expand the model across other faculties and universities throughout Egypt, aiming to make AI-enabled creativity accessible to every student and nurture a new generation of innovators shaping the country’s digital future.
