Caffeine AI Hackathon Winner Giulia Unveils Student Tutoring App at Pescara

PhD researcher Giulia is taking centre stage at the University of Pescara to present her app, Osvaldo, a digital personal tutor designed to support university students. The presentation follows her win at the recent Caffeine AI Hackathon meetup in Pescara, highlighting the growing role of student-led innovation in the tech and education sectors.

Her workshop, titled “CreerAI – Shape your ideas with Artificial Intelligence”, is part of the European Researchers’ Night, an annual event held in hundreds of cities across Europe. The initiative invites the public to explore science, research, and innovation through interactive workshops, live demonstrations, and hands-on experiences.

Giulia’s session aims to show participants how artificial intelligence can be used to bring ideas to life, combining practical guidance with insights from her own research. Support from local universities and research networks underlines the collaborative effort to make science accessible and engaging for wider audiences.

Osvaldo reflects a growing interest in AI applications for education, offering personalised learning tools that could help students manage study routines, track progress, and access tailored content. By presenting at European Researchers’ Night, Giulia joins a broader conversation about how emerging technologies can enhance everyday learning experiences.
