Caffeine AI lets users query live app data across multiple applications

Caffeine AI has introduced a feature that allows users to ask questions about the live data inside their applications, including information drawn from multiple apps at the same time.

The update enables users to query data in natural language rather than manually searching through records, spreadsheets or reports. For example, a user can ask when two team members are both available during August, and Caffeine analyses the current data in the app to determine the answer.

The feature can also work across connected applications. A single question can retrieve and compare information from systems such as invoicing and human resources, allowing users to work with data from different business tools through one interface.

According to the company, the responses are based on the live data available in the connected apps, which means the answers can reflect current schedules, records and operational information rather than static reports.

The update is aimed at reducing the time spent moving between different software systems to gather information. Tasks that would normally require checking multiple applications can instead be handled through a single query.

The announcement reflects a broader trend in AI software, where natural language interfaces are increasingly being integrated into workplace applications to make data retrieval and analysis more accessible to non-technical users. Companies across the productivity and enterprise software sector have been expanding AI-powered search and assistant features that can surface information across connected tools.

Caffeine AI is positioning the feature as a way for users to interact directly with their operational data across connected apps without relying on traditional dashboards or manual database queries.

The feature is available through the Caffeine app and is designed to support both individual users and teams that manage information across multiple business applications.
