Caffeine Launches Promptathon to Inspire Self-Development Apps

Caffeine has officially launched its latest Promptathon, inviting creators to develop apps designed to help people level up in 2026. The competition comes with a prize pool of $10,000 and does not require coding experience, making it accessible to anyone with innovative ideas and an interest in leveraging AI.

Participants who register their intent to join will receive 110 free Caffeine AI credits, though registration is optional. The event encourages creators to focus on practical, self-development tools, ranging from productivity boosters to wellness trackers, or apps that help users set and achieve meaningful goals.

The competition kicks off with a livestream on X, offering participants an opportunity to engage directly with organisers and the community. This interactive session provides guidance on submitting entries and demonstrates how Caffeine AI can be used to bring concepts to life. Submissions open on February 2 and close on February 4 at 11:59 PM EST. Each participant may submit a single app, which must be fully functional and complete at the time of review.

Judging will prioritise creativity, usability, and the potential for real-world impact, with winners announced on February 11, 2026. The Promptathon provides a platform not only for showcasing ideas but also for exploring the growing possibilities of AI-assisted app development. Participants can experiment with different approaches, iterate quickly, and gain early exposure to a community of like-minded innovators.

The launch reflects a broader trend in making AI tools more accessible for idea generation and practical application. By combining a structured challenge with open-ended creative potential, Caffeine is encouraging both novice and experienced creators to push the boundaries of what AI can do in everyday life.
