CycleOps Launches New Memory Monitoring Features to Help Developers Manage Canister Performance

CycleOps has introduced updated monitoring tools that track eight new canister memory metrics, aiming to give developers better visibility and control over their applications. The platform now includes email alerts for heap and stable memory usage, allowing teams to respond quickly to potential issues.

The new charts provide detailed insights into heap and stable memory, as well as Wasm binary and snapshot memory, among other metrics. These tools are designed to help developers optimise data design within canisters and reduce storage costs.

A notable addition is the ability to set email alert thresholds for heap and stable memory with just one click. Developers can apply these settings across multiple canisters at once, making it easier to keep track of growing memory demands and avoid problems like leaks or overflows.

CycleOps encourages developers to set up these alerts to maintain smooth performance and manage data migrations without stress. The process is straightforward, with heap memory alerts and other notifications able to be configured in under five minutes.

This update reflects CycleOps’ focus on practical tools that support developers as their decentralised applications expand, helping them stay ahead of memory issues and control operational costs.
