Global Networking: SusHi Tech and Social Impact Day 2024

Let’s step into the world of global networking as the New Nordic Pitching & Networking event opens doors to a diverse mix of Japanese corporates, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders. This event offers a unique chance to connect with Nordic and Baltic startups and community organizations before SusHi Tech takes center stage. Expect insights into the thriving Nordic innovation ecosystem and engaging networking sessions.

Scheduled for May 13, 2024, at the Minato City Industrial Promotion Centre, this event promises a firsthand look into Nordic startups and opportunities for meaningful connections with industry players.

Before and after SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024 Global Startup Program (STT2024 GSP), a series of partner events are set to unfold. Notable among these is Social Impact Day 2024, Japan’s premier conference focusing on social impact and systemic change driven by the Impact Economy.

Hosted by SIMI (Social Impact Management Initiative), Social Impact Day spans three impactful days from May 15 to May 17, 2024. Participants can expect deep discussions on system change, impact-driven initiatives, and the role of businesses in creating positive societal and environmental impacts.

The event lineup includes networking sessions, keynote speeches, sponsored sessions, and engaging discussions aimed at fostering collaboration and driving meaningful change. Ticket options range from paid access to all sessions and archive viewing to free tickets for select sessions, with options for concurrent application for Engaged Membership, offering additional benefits and privileges.

Co-organized by GSG-NAB Japan and co-hosted by prominent organizations such as the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, AVPN, and Japan Impact-driven Financing Initiative, Social Impact Day boasts an impressive list of sponsors and supporters, including Mizuho Financial Group, Japan Post Insurance, Nissay Asset Management Corporation, and others.

In parallel, the Impact Consortium, launched in November 2023 as an interactive platform for impact-driven stakeholders, will host its inaugural Impact Forum on May 14, 2024. This forum, hosted by the JFSA (Japan Financial Services Agency), aims to facilitate discussions on market views, impact commitments, sustainable investment, and business sustainability.

Mark your calendars for these impactful events and join the global conversation on driving positive change, fostering innovation, and building sustainable ecosystems that benefit society and the economy. Engage, connect, and be part of Japan’s thriving Impact Economy movement.
