IC Spicy has completed a full integration with Oisy, bringing new capabilities for multi-chain transactions, RWA (real-world asset) payments and NFT-based user access. The update is already live within the Spicy dapp and is aimed at improving both the usability and transparency of crypto payments for online and in-person use.
The integration introduces support for TabbyPOS, allowing IC Spicy to handle real-world transactions more easily while still operating within a decentralised structure. By supporting cross-chain operations, the platform becomes more accessible to users who transact across different networks. This is particularly useful for crypto-friendly retail environments, where flexibility and speed often influence the decision to accept digital payments.
One of the core features of the integration is enhanced user control. Oisy allows transactions to be approved only when explicitly authorised, which helps mitigate accidental transfers and unauthorised activity. Though it introduces a few extra steps in the process, the added security appears to be a trade-off IC Spicy is happy to make.
The update also brings improvements in user authentication and content access. IC Spicy now has the ability to issue NFTs as membership credentials, which can unlock premium features within the dapp. With Oisy’s infrastructure, these NFTs act as access keys, giving projects more flexibility in how they manage user permissions.
Oisy has been positioning itself as a privacy-focused alternative to conventional wallets, and this integration with IC Spicy could add to that momentum. While calling other wallets obsolete may be premature, the move shows how projects are increasingly looking for tools that offer more control without compromising on functionality.
