ICP-Based 3D Design Tool Showcases Interactive Room Building with AI Prompts

A new 3D room design application built on the Internet Computer Protocol is drawing attention after a developer shared a working demo created using a handful of prompts. The project, known as ArchBlock, allows users to design and modify interior layouts directly in a browser, using familiar mouse and keyboard controls.

The demo was highlighted by Stephanos, who described the build as fully hosted on ICP and created with just five prompts using Anthropic Opus 4.6. The claim points to a growing interest in combining blockchain infrastructure with generative AI tools to speed up development workflows.

ArchBlock’s interface enables users to construct floor plans by placing walls, doors, windows and furniture within a 3D environment. The experience is designed to feel interactive rather than static, offering real-time adjustments as users refine layouts. By running entirely on-chain through Internet Computer Protocol, the application also reflects a broader push to host more complex software directly on decentralised networks.

Projects like this are emerging at a time when developers are testing how far blockchain-based systems can support applications that traditionally rely on centralised infrastructure. While ICP has positioned itself as a platform capable of handling full-stack applications, questions remain around scalability, performance and long-term adoption compared to conventional cloud services.

At the same time, the use of AI-generated prompts to create functional tools is becoming more common, lowering the barrier for rapid prototyping. The ArchBlock example shows how quickly a concept can move from idea to working product, though it also raises practical considerations around reliability, refinement and user experience as such tools mature.

For now, the project serves as a snapshot of how blockchain and AI are being tested together in real-world applications, offering a glimpse of how design tools could evolve as both technologies continue to develop.

Dear Reader,

Ledger Life is an independent platform dedicated to covering the Internet Computer (ICP) ecosystem and beyond. We focus on real stories, builder updates, project launches, and the quiet innovations that often get missed.

We’re not backed by sponsors. We rely on readers like you.

If you find value in what we publish—whether it’s deep dives into dApps, explainers on decentralised tech, or just keeping track of what’s moving in Web3—please consider making a donation. It helps us cover costs, stay consistent, and remain truly independent.

Your support goes a long way.
