ICPay is working towards giving users broader control over canisters directly through its platform, alongside updates aimed at improving its developer and tipping features.
The team says users will soon be able to manage canisters and their supported settings from ICPay. The work is currently in progress, with several updates already completed.
A bug affecting the channel view has been fixed, while canister settings now support full control. The team has also removed raw UI code and fixed more than six other bugs.
ICPay is also highlighting features that allow users to connect their social media profiles and receive tips through the platform. For example, a user can share a personal ICPay profile link such as icpay.app/1 so others can access the profile and send tips.
The platform is also promoting a 32 per cent improvement in speed, based on its official benchmark from Google PageSpeed Insights.
For developers building on the Internet Computer, ICPay’s current workflow includes logging in, depositing ICP, creating a canister, copying the canister ID and using the dfx command line tool to deploy. Once deployed, users can monitor and top up the canister through ICPay.
The latest changes suggest the platform is moving towards bringing more of the canister management process into a single interface, while continuing to address performance and usability issues.
