ICPay has announced a series of updates to its platform, including interface improvements, responsive design changes and a new canister management tool for Internet Computer projects.
The latest update includes a daily percentage change indicator for the ICP price, along with improvements intended to make the platform work more consistently across different devices. The team also said it has fixed more than eight reported bugs.
One of the main additions is canister management, which ICPay says allows users to control their project canisters directly through its platform. The new tool is available through the canister tools section of the service, giving developers an alternative to using the DFX command line for routine canister management.
ICPay is also promoting icChannels, a community-focused feature where users can create channels and publish news and other content. The project says the service is intended to give community members an opportunity to generate revenue while helping grow the platform.
According to ICPay, the channel feature is aimed in part at users who are already promoting online communities but have limited opportunities to earn from their activity. Users can create channels and post content regularly as part of the platform’s community model.
The canister management release and channel initiative reflect ICPay’s broader effort to bring more project and community functions into a single web-based platform. Developers can access the canister tools through ICPay Canister Tools, while users interested in creating community channels can explore icChannels.
The new features are currently presented by ICPay as platform updates, and their longer-term usefulness will depend on adoption, reliability and how developers and community members use the services.
