ICPay has released its official product roadmap, setting out a development plan that begins with wallet infrastructure and extends to token transfers, trading and merchant payments.
The company said the roadmap reflects features that have already been launched, those currently under development and the next stages of the platform’s expansion.
Completed work includes a custodial ICP wallet and a username system that allows users to interact through readable usernames rather than principal identifiers.
ICPay said it is now building multi-token support, which is intended to allow the wallet to work with a broader range of tokens.
Future development plans include token transfers, token creation tools, on-chain trading functionality and merchant payment features. The company said the roadmap has been organised according to technical dependencies rather than community excitement around individual features.
Publishing a roadmap provides users with greater visibility over product priorities, although timelines and delivery schedules can change as development progresses. The approach is common among wallet and payment platforms seeking to communicate how infrastructure improvements will support later features.
