Internet Computer records more than $80,000 in weekly on-chain revenue

The Internet Computer (ICP) recorded $80,209 in on-chain revenue over a seven-day period, according to figures shared by the DFINITY account on X.
The reported total represents an annualised rate of approximately $4.17 million if revenue continued at the same pace. The figures were shared alongside a link to Chainspect, a platform that tracks blockchain network data.
The update points to continued fee-generating activity on the Internet Computer network, which is developed by the DFINITY Foundation. However, a single week’s revenue does not establish a long-term trend, and the annualised figure is a projection based on the latest seven days rather than a guaranteed outcome.
On-chain revenue can provide one indicator of network usage, but its interpretation depends on how fees are generated, what activity they reflect and how the figures are calculated.
The latest report did not provide a breakdown of the revenue sources or a comparison with other blockchain networks.
