Liquidium prepares NFT lending launch on Robinhood Chain

Liquidium is preparing to bring its NFT lending protocol to Robinhood Chain, expanding its lending activity from Bitcoin into a new Ethereum Layer 2 environment.

The project has teased the upcoming launch through social media, using the message “New chain. Same game.” The campaign points users towards an early-access registration page for the new service.

Liquidium’s Robinhood Chain offering will allow users to borrow ETH or USDG against supported NFTs, while lenders can make fixed offers. The platform says loan terms are agreed before signing and remain fixed for the duration of the loan.

The move builds on Liquidium’s experience in Bitcoin-based lending. According to the project’s current information, its Bitcoin platform has processed more than 132,000 loans, with reported Bitcoin lending volume of about 4,002 BTC.

The Robinhood Chain version will use NFTs as collateral, with the current platform listing collections including RH Machines, Quotrons, StonkBrokers, Cash Cats and several other projects. Liquidium says the Robinhood Chain and Bitcoin lending books will remain separate.

The lending model differs from conventional margin-based lending in that Liquidium says its Robinhood Chain loans do not use price-based liquidations. Instead, loans have agreed terms and repayment deadlines, with the collateral potentially passing to the lender if the borrower defaults. The platform’s documentation advises users to review the asset, principal, interest, duration and wallet prompts before signing.

Robinhood Chain launched its public mainnet in July 2026. Robinhood describes it as a permissionless, Ethereum-compatible Layer 2 designed for financial applications and real-world assets, while the network uses ETH for transaction fees.

For Liquidium, the expansion brings its lending model to a different blockchain environment while keeping the fixed-offer structure used for its new Robinhood Chain service.

Early access is now being promoted through Liquidium’s Robinhood Chain page, with the full lending service expected to follow the launch process.
