Liquidium is promoting its software development kit (SDK) as a way for developers to add borrowing and lending features to their applications without building a lending protocol from scratch.
The company said developers can integrate the SDK into AI-assisted coding tools such as Codex and Claude by using a simple installation command for the @liquidium/client package. According to the announcement, the SDK is designed to scaffold the borrowing and lending flow, allowing developers to customise the implementation for their own applications.
Liquidium said the SDK supports borrowing, lending, market data and position management across Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC, USDT and ICP. The company presented the offering as a tool for developers who want to add lending functionality with a reduced amount of infrastructure work.
The company also said wallet applications including Oisy and Plug Wallet have already integrated Liquidium using the SDK. Those integrations suggest that the toolkit is intended for both wallet providers and developers building financial applications on the Internet Computer ecosystem.
Developer tooling has become an increasingly competitive area across blockchain and decentralised finance projects, with many platforms trying to reduce the technical barriers involved in adding financial services to applications. SDKs and AI-assisted development tools are becoming a common part of that strategy, particularly for smaller teams and independent developers.
The announcement did not include technical details about security architecture, supported lending models or deployment requirements. As with any financial infrastructure integration, developers would still need to consider factors such as risk management, compliance obligations and user protections when implementing borrowing and lending features.
Liquidium said the SDK is available now and is intended to help developers begin building lending-enabled applications more quickly.
