Liquidium reports 38% weekly rise in Bitcoin lending volume

Liquidium has reported a rise in lending activity over the past week, with Bitcoin-denominated loans increasing alongside renewed activity in Ordinals and Runes.

The platform recorded 457 loans during the week, up 22% from the previous week. A total of 3.47 BTC was originated, representing a 38% weekly increase.

Ordinals accounted for the largest share of the reported volume, with 3.22 BTC originated through Ordinals-related lending, also up 38% week on week. Runes lending contributed 0.25 BTC, marking a 34% increase.

The figures come as activity around Bitcoin-based digital assets shows signs of returning to the lending market. Liquidium framed the figures as a possible indication that interest in Ordinals and Runes may be picking up again, although a single week’s data does not establish a longer-term trend.

One of the largest individual contributors was the Bitcoin-focused account @OrdinalMaxiBiz, which led the reported activity with 1.25 BTC.

Liquidium’s latest figures point to increased demand for lending tied to Bitcoin-native assets, while the distribution of volume shows Ordinals continuing to account for most of the activity reported by the platform.

Whether the weekly increase develops into sustained growth will depend on activity over the coming weeks. For now, the latest numbers provide an early indication of stronger lending volumes across Ordinals and Runes.
