Liquidium reports stronger stablecoin yields as demand increases

Liquidium says demand for stablecoins on its platform has increased, leading to higher yields for users supplying USDC and USDT.

The platform said suppliers can currently earn around 4 per cent annual percentage yield by providing USDC or USDT through its lending markets. According to Liquidium, the returns are generated through cross-chain decentralised finance activity rather than token incentives or subsidy programs.

The company described the yield as unsubsidised and non-inflationary, indicating that returns are derived from borrowing demand rather than the issuance of additional reward tokens.

Stablecoin lending has become an increasingly competitive area within decentralised finance, with yields often fluctuating in response to borrowing activity, liquidity levels and broader market conditions. Periods of stronger demand can result in higher returns for lenders, while yields may decline when liquidity increases or borrowing demand weakens.

Liquidium’s update was promotional in nature and did not provide detailed data on borrowing volumes or the factors driving the recent increase in demand.

The announcement highlights continuing interest in stablecoin lending as users seek yield opportunities that are less exposed to the price volatility associated with other digital assets.
