Menese Protocol has rolled out a fresh set of upgrades aimed at broadening its cross-chain finance offering, introducing new liquidity incentives, stock trading capabilities and wider blockchain support.
The announcement, shared on X, says liquidity providers can now earn up to 11 per cent annual percentage yield (APY) by supplying SOL and ICP to the protocol. Yield opportunities remain a key attraction in decentralised finance, although returns can fluctuate depending on liquidity levels, market conditions and protocol activity.
The latest release also introduces the ability to buy stocks directly using assets held on the Ethereum and Solana networks. According to Menese, users can access what it describes as the best available prices while buying or swapping assets through the platform.
Another update focuses on cross-chain liquidity pools, which are now powered by solver networks. These systems are designed to route transactions efficiently across different blockchains, helping users access Bitcoin and stablecoin liquidity without relying on traditional bridging methods. The feature is also now available on the Sui blockchain.
Menese has expanded its connection with Robinhood’s blockchain initiative, saying Robinhood stocks are now fully available in a cross-chain environment through Robinhood Chain. The move reflects a wider push across the digital asset sector to connect tokenised financial products with multiple blockchain ecosystems, although adoption will depend on the rollout of supporting infrastructure and regulatory developments in different markets.
The protocol also says it now supports multichain execution across Ethereum, Solana, Sui, Bitcoin and the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP), with plans to extend compatibility further. Cross-chain execution has become an increasingly competitive area of decentralised finance as projects look to reduce fragmentation between blockchain networks and allow users to move value without switching platforms.
For Internet Computer users, the inclusion of ICP among the supported settlement assets broadens access to Menese’s liquidity pools and cross-chain trading features. It also places ICP alongside some of the industry’s largest blockchain ecosystems as protocols continue building services that operate across multiple networks rather than remaining tied to a single chain.
The updates come as decentralised finance platforms compete to simplify cross-chain transactions while expanding access to tokenised assets, staking opportunities and liquidity services through a single interface. Whether these new features attract sustained user activity will depend on liquidity depth, execution quality and the overall demand for cross-chain financial applications.
