Odin Fun has unveiled a new system designed to put more power in the hands of its user communities. The platform’s Community Fee model allows each user to select a community to affiliate with, enabling that community to earn a small portion of activity generated through bonding or automated market maker (AMM) volume.
Specifically, communities receive 0.1 per cent on bonding transactions and 0.04 per cent on AMM trades. The initiative is supported by new features within Odin Fun, including dedicated community pages and leaderboards that highlight activity and engagement within each network.
The move aims to bring a social element to Bitcoin DeFi, rewarding groups for active participation and encouraging users to connect with like-minded members. By tracking contributions and providing visible recognition, Odin Fun seeks to strengthen networks while maintaining decentralised finance principles.
The update signals a broader trend in DeFi towards community-driven incentives, where platforms increasingly focus on user engagement and the social dynamics that shape adoption and retention. With these features, Odin Fun is giving communities a tangible stake in the activity they help generate.
