Odin.fun moves to expand access to roadmap voting after user complaints

Odin.fun says it is making changes to its roadmap voting system after some users reported being unable to participate through the platform’s legacy voting page.

The platform said the issue affected two groups of users. Some had already used their vote tokens on V1 feature proposals, while others had trading volume below the eligibility threshold required to vote.

According to Odin.fun, it is working on resetting vote tokens for users who previously voted on V1 features, allowing them to take part in the current roadmap process. The platform said it intends to keep its existing model in which users with higher trading volume receive more voting power.

It also plans to adjust the eligibility rules so that more users can participate without fundamentally changing how the voting system operates.

Community voting has become a common feature across digital asset platforms, where users are often given a role in deciding product priorities and feature development. These systems can also create disputes over eligibility criteria and the distribution of voting power.

Odin.fun encouraged users to return to the roadmap page and take part in the voting process as the adjustments are implemented. The company said user feedback had prompted the review and that participation remained an important part of shaping future platform features.
