Odin.fun recorded its busiest development week in a month during Week 34, with the team reporting 161 commits and 60 pull requests as it rolled out changes across token interactions, community earnings, sessions and mobile features.
One of the main updates was a new holding requirement for token comments. Users must now hold a token before they can comment on it. The commenting gate is supported by Redis caching, with the system designed so that an internal fault cannot be stored as a refusal and incorrectly prevent users from commenting.
The same migration was applied to voting and pinning or unpinning functions. Legacy routes have been deprecated after the team confirmed parity with the new implementation, with the changes now running in production.
Community fee earnings have also become visible to users. Communities earn a BTC fee from every trade made by their members, but the platform previously did not provide a way to view those earnings.
Under the latest update, community fee earnings are calculated hourly and displayed through community statistics. Users can now see total earnings alongside figures for the past seven and 30 days.
The development team also addressed session and authentication issues. Orphaned authentication credentials and outdated wallet IDs are now cleared when an identity is removed. The wallet signing prompt has also been adjusted so it does not appear repeatedly during the same session.
Mobile users received several updates as well. Quick buy and sell functionality is now available directly from mobile token tables, while community statistics have been redesigned with a stacked layout for smaller screens.
The login experience for trading has also been streamlined. Users who attempt to open quick buy or sell while logged out are now taken directly to the wallet connection prompt.
Odin.fun described the latest release as part of its approach to building in public, with the Week 34 update focused on improving token participation, community visibility, account sessions and mobile trading.
