Odin.fun ships frontend 10.5.0 after 55 development commits

By Maria Irene · 6 Nov 2026

Bitcoin-focused trading platform Odin.fun has released frontend version 10.5.0, bringing several weeks of accumulated development work into production.

The platform’s week 43 development update reported 55 commits, with three weeks of frontend changes shipped together on 20 October.

The release introduces live chart bars driven by the trades stream across both charts, alongside live token prices on token pages and listings. It also adds OdinConnect redirect mode for compatibility with wallet browsers and introduces community mobile tab bars.

Other changes include kill switches for Rune deposits and withdrawals, as well as live chat and comments. Slippage has also been capped within the range supported by the canister.

Odin.fun is preparing another update to how it handles Bitcoin price information. The BTC/USD price is expected to be delivered through a WebSocket stream rather than being retrieved through repeated polling.

According to the development update, the API and gateway work for this change has been completed. Debezium is being used to capture currency changes and publish them to a public channel named odin.btc.price. Frontend integration is still pending.

The team has also introduced a public GET /statistics/top-traders endpoint, which displays the leading traders over the previous 24 hours. The endpoint is currently available on the development environment.

The latest release brings several user-facing changes, while the Bitcoin price stream and top traders feature remain at different stages of development. The update did not provide a timeline for their full production release.
