Plug Wallet Revamps Swap Page With Integrated ICP–EVM Bridge

Plug Wallet has introduced a refreshed swap page, bringing a smoother experience for users moving assets across Internet Computer and EVM networks. The update integrates OneSec’s ICP–EVM bridge directly into Plug’s swap aggregator, streamlining cross-chain transactions within the wallet interface.

The upgrade means users can now access bridge pairs without leaving Plug, a change designed to simplify DeFi activity on the Internet Computer. Plug’s new feature allows faster swaps across ICP and popular EVM chains such as Ethereum, Solana, and Bitcoin, with better routing and pricing through the built-in aggregator.

The team shared a practical tip with the release: users can often get better rates by bridging from ICP to EVM first, before swapping to other tokens like ETH, SOL, or BTC. This reflects an ongoing focus on improving efficiency and transparency in decentralised trading.

Plug’s integration of OneSec follows a broader wave of tools improving liquidity flow between ICP and external ecosystems. As DeFi expands across multiple chains, native wallet bridges like this are helping make those networks more interoperable and user-friendly.

The update is available now in the latest version of Plug Wallet.
