Silicon Valley Gears Up for ICP’s Web3 Week

ICP Hub United States is gearing up for a series of events across Silicon Valley, aiming to unite the Web3 community and foster discussions on blockchain and AI technologies. The lineup includes gatherings at Berkeley, San Francisco, and Stanford, featuring industry leaders and offering networking opportunities for enthusiasts and professionals alike.

The series kicks off on 11 February at the Haas School of Business, Berkeley, with “ICP @ Berkeley: The Future of Blockchain & Decentralized Computing.” Jan Camenisch, CTO of DFINITY and a renowned figure in cryptography, will lead discussions on advancements in decentralized computing.

Following this, on 12 February, DFINITY will host a Community Happy Hour at their new San Francisco office. Attendees can expect refreshments and in-depth conversations on blockchain, with opportunities to meet the DFINITY team and other Web3 builders.

Later that day, the focus shifts to Stanford’s Hewlett Teaching Center for an ICP Technical Workshop. Jan Camenisch will provide an in-depth look into the Internet Computer Protocol, exploring its impact on decentralized computing, smart contracts, and decentralized AI. The workshop includes live demonstrations and hands-on coding sessions, with limited seats available for those who register in advance.

On 13 February, the ICP x Supermoon Online Demo Day will feature eight innovative ICP projects pitching their ideas to top venture capitalists. This virtual event offers insights into emerging Web3 innovations and provides a platform for founders building on the Internet Computer to showcase their work.

The week concludes on 15 February with the ICP North America Alliance Meetup at the House of Web3 in San Francisco. This evening event promises discussions on blockchain insights and venture capital trends, complemented by networking opportunities, food, and engaging conversations about Web3.
