TACO DAO has submitted a new proposal to increase its neuron stake in the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) network. The plan would add 7,700 ICP to the DAO’s existing eight-year neuron vector, bringing the total stake to 7,777 ICP.
The increase is designed to provide a steady stream of rewards, with an estimated 2.5 ICP maturing daily. All maturity generated from the neuron will automatically flow into TACO DAO’s treasury, creating resources for future expenses or potential expansion of the DAO’s token portfolio.
TACO DAO’s current neuron, locked for eight years and initially set up with 77 ICP, plays a role in the network’s governance through participation in the Network Nervous System (NNS). By boosting the neuron stake, the DAO would strengthen its influence in ICP governance while generating sustainable rewards for operational use.
The proposal highlights the DAO’s approach to long-term planning, aiming to combine governance participation with a predictable source of income. Community members will vote on the proposal, determining whether the increased neuron stake is implemented.
