Plug Wallet has rolled out a major update that lets users swap assets across multiple networks, including Solana, Ethereum, Bitcoin, EVM chains, and ICP, without ever leaving the app.
The upgrade aims to simplify how people move digital assets between blockchains. Until now, users often had to manage several wallets or use third-party bridges, a process that could be time-consuming and risky. With Plug, those swaps can now happen in one place, while keeping full control of funds.
The feature is powered by ChainFusion, a technology that connects blockchains directly at the protocol level. It allows all trades to remain native, without relying on wrapped or synthetic tokens. That means when users swap between ETH, SOL, BTC, or ICP, they’re trading the actual assets, not token representations.
What stands out is how seamless the process feels. There’s no need to switch between apps or external platforms. The wallet handles each swap within a single interface, giving users a straightforward experience without compromising security or self-custody.
Plug’s team says the update is designed to make managing crypto simpler while maintaining the non-custodial structure that users trust. All private keys remain with the user, ensuring complete ownership and security.
The new cross-chain feature also strengthens Plug’s position as a central hub for DeFi activity, bridging ecosystems that were once isolated. By reducing barriers between networks, Plug aims to make digital asset management feel less technical and more connected.
Plug Wallet is available on both desktop and mobile. Users can access the latest version to experience cross-chain swaps directly within their wallets.
