While Ethereum and other blockchains have long offered fast swaps, bringing this capability directly to Bitcoin’s base layer strengthens the network’s expanding DeFi capabilities. The update signals a shift towards more efficient, native Bitcoin liquidity without relying on wrapped assets or external bridges.
