OHSHII and CLOWN tighten integration as new incentives reshape token launches

The teams behind OHSHII and CLOWN have moved ahead with two new integrations that link the token-launch platform with Clown’s social-mining system, aiming to boost participation, streamline fees and create more structured marketing pathways for new projects.

The first update is already active. OHSHII has reduced its initial participation fee for users entering an ICO for the first time, bringing it down from 30000 to 15000 OHSHII. Of that amount, 7500 is now burned, while the remaining 7500 is directed to CLOWN campaigns designed to promote OHSHII itself. Supporters argue that this shift could encourage more users to try the launcher and create a more consistent burn mechanism. Critics, however, often caution that fee-burn models can generate short-term excitement while offering limited long-term clarity unless user growth keeps pace.

The second integration has been completed from the OHSHII side, with CLOWN expected to finish its own DApp connection soon. Once fully live, every ICO launched through OHSHII will be able to dedicate 1.5 per cent of its token supply to promotional campaigns on CLOWN. This allocation cannot be withdrawn by the creator, and after an ICO ends, OHSHII’s backend grants a controlled allowance for that 1.5 per cent to the Clown system. ICO creators can set their CLOWN principal ID, and the Clown backend will verify whether the connected user is authorised to use the allocation for running campaigns.

Supporters of the update say both integrations highlight a trend toward pairing token launches with community-driven promotional tools. Others watching the sector point out that tighter linkages between launch platforms and marketing engines could raise questions about transparency, project independence and how smaller creators will interpret the added requirements. The teams behind OHSHII and CLOWN maintain that the goal is to give creators a clearer pathway to grow early visibility without manual coordination.

Both platforms are positioning the changes as part of a broader move towards more automated token-growth features tied to social participation on ICP. Further details are available on the OHSHII launcher and Clown social-mining sites.
