Sneed Hub has launched a wave of updates designed to make the platform faster, more intuitive, and more versatile for users. The improvements cover wallet access, token management, user pages, front-end design, and app functionality.
The Quick Wallet feature now lets users access their wallet from anywhere via the header icon, while the Scan Tokens tool automatically detects tokens with balances and adds them to a user’s wallet. This removes the need for manual input and streamlines token tracking. Users can also view all their hotkeyed SNS neurons in one place on the new Me Page, and the User Page now shows these neurons alongside token balances for the selected principal, giving a clearer snapshot of holdings and activity.
Sending tokens has become more transparent with an updated Send Tokens dialog that displays the balance of the recipient address. Several other pages, including key wallet and neuron pages, have been optimised using the new Wallet and Neuron Cache, resulting in faster load times and smoother navigation.
The front page has been redesigned to present token and DAO statistics at a glance, along with the newest items from the Feed and the most recent active auctions on Sneedex Marketplace. The aim is to give users a quick, comprehensive view of the ecosystem’s activity without digging through multiple pages.
In a notable shift, Sneed Hub has rebranded its ICP Neuron Manager canister apps for liquid ICP staking to ICP Staking Bots. These are the first in a new series of personal canister apps that live in users’ wallets and perform automated tasks. The change signals the platform’s intent to expand the role of “Bot” apps, potentially enabling users to manage staking, token tracking, and other functions more efficiently in the future.
The updates reflect a broader push to make Sneed Hub a more functional and engaging space for both casual users and active participants in the ICP ecosystem. By combining faster performance, simplified token management, and an improved interface, the platform hopes to encourage more users to explore onchain applications and engage with the growing Sneed community.
