Satsman goes live with first Bitcoin L1 memecoin launch

Satsman.fun, the Omnity Network’s platform for Bitcoin layer one memecoins, has officially gone live with the launch of three Genesis Memecoins. The project opens deposits to participants, inviting users to prepare their sats ahead of the first distribution.

The initial launch will begin in around 48 hours and run for 432 Bitcoin blocks, approximately three days. After this period, the platform will move into a permissionless phase, allowing anyone to participate in future memecoin distributions.

Satsman builds on its earlier tools, including Smart Etch and the Runes meta-protocol, which enable permissionless token creation and unique name registration. By ensuring scarcity and preventing duplicate tickers, the platform aims to provide a fairer and more accessible launch process than previous models. Short-name Runes—ranging from seven to one letter—remain gradually available, giving users the opportunity to secure names such as SATOCHI, PEPE, MOON, DOG, and AI.

On-chain token launches are supported with built-in liquidity formation via RichSwap, a fully on-chain Bitcoin L1 automated market maker. Users contribute Bitcoin to Satsman agents, which distribute tokens proportionally and maintain permanent liquidity, helping reduce competition from bots and provide a more equitable environment for participants.

Omnity Network frames Satsman as a return of memecoins to Bitcoin, highlighting the chain’s security, neutrality, and prominence as ideal conditions for speculative and narrative-driven tokens. With the first Genesis Memecoins now live, the project marks the start of a broader “Meme Season” aimed at energising on-chain activity and reinforcing the network’s foundational role.
