Coinbase explores support for new digital assets

Coinbase has announced that they are exploring the addition of a range of new assets. These new assets include, in alphabetical order: Aave, Aragon, Arweave, Bancor, COMP, DigiByte, Horizen, Livepeer, NuCypher, Numeraire, KEEP Network, Origin Protocol, Ren, Render Network, Siacoin*, SKALE Network, Synthetix, and VeChain.

The decision to support any asset requires significant technical and compliance review and may be subject to regulatory approval in some jurisdictions. Coinbase says they cannot guarantee whether or when any above-listed asset will be listed on a Coinbase product in any jurisdiction. As per the listing process, new assets will be added on a jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction basis, subject to applicable review and authorizations. The omission of assets from this publication does not disqualify any such asset from active review and potential listing.

Coinbase says its goal is to offer support for all assets that meet technical standards and which comply with applicable laws.
