Odin Fun has rolled out a set of platform updates aimed at improving how users receive information, get help and influence what gets built next.
The most visible change is a built-in announcements feature. Until now, updates were often shared through external channels such as Twitter, Telegram or Discord, which meant some users missed important information. Announcements published inside Odin Fun now reach all users directly, with a red notification dot flagging new messages. The team says this approach reflects a broader focus on strengthening on-platform communities, with plans to allow users to create their own communities and post announcements as part of an upcoming Community Fees feature that is currently under audit.
Support has also been brought directly into Odin Fun. Previously, help requests were handled mainly through Discord, a platform that many users either do not use or are unfamiliar with. According to the team, this has led to confusion and, in some cases, scams involving fake direct messages. The new in-app support system allows users to submit, view and reply to tickets without leaving Odin Fun. From the developers’ side, it offers clearer visibility into issues being raised, although they acknowledge there is still work to do to clear an existing backlog.
A third addition introduces roadmap voting, designed to formalise user feedback. Instead of relying on private messages spread across multiple platforms, Odin Fun now allocates votes based on how active a user has been within the platform. Users with higher activity levels receive more votes to assign to features they want prioritised. The aim is to better reflect the preferences of engaged users and guide both short-term and longer-term planning.
The team frames this voting system as an early step towards a more community-led model over time. While full governance changes are not yet in place, the structure is intended to support a gradual move in that direction.
Notably, these updates did not require smart contract changes, allowing them to be delivered more quickly. Odin Fun says further releases tied to smart contracts are on the way, including community fees and staking-related features, but these remain dependent on the completion of ongoing audits.
