Bitmap.trade adds Wallet Connect and portfolio profiles

Bitmap.trade has launched a new Wallet Connect feature, giving users a way to connect Bitcoin wallets, view their bitmap holdings and create shareable portfolio profiles.

The update allows users to connect through Xverse or Unisat and brings together every bitmap linked to a wallet in one place. Users can also link multiple wallets to a single portfolio, name their wallets and share their profile publicly.

Bitmap.trade describes the release as a way for users to prove ownership of their bitmap collection. In the bitmap system, each Bitcoin block is represented as a bitmap, creating a record of ownership tied to the blockchain.

The platform’s new profile page is designed to make portfolio tracking easier for collectors and traders who hold multiple bitmaps across different wallets. Rather than switching between separate wallet interfaces, users can now see all of their bitmap holdings through one dashboard.

The addition of wallet naming could also make it easier for users to organise different collections or separate personal holdings from trading activity. Public profile sharing may appeal to collectors who want to showcase their bitmap portfolios or compare holdings with others in the community.

The release comes as Bitcoin-based digital assets continue to attract interest, particularly following the rise of Ordinals, inscriptions and other tools tied to Bitcoin-native ownership. Platforms connected to the Bitcoin ecosystem have increasingly been adding portfolio tracking and social features as users look for easier ways to manage their collections.

Bitmap.trade has framed the feature as a practical tool rather than a major redesign of the platform. The focus appears to be on making wallet management simpler and helping users confirm which bitmaps they own.

Users can access the new profile feature through bitmap.trade/profile.
