Flash Trade Returns to RichSwap with Faster Bitcoin DeFi

Flash Trade is back on RichSwap, reintroducing a feature that allows users to swap and add liquidity using unconfirmed UTXOs. The idea is to cut down the wait time usually tied to Bitcoin confirmations and let balances update instantly, so traders can move on to their next action without delay.

According to RichSwap, the process now takes around ten seconds. That opens the door to quicker swaps and liquidity provision, including Runes, without the lag that has long been a sticking point in Bitcoin DeFi.

The service is powered by Omnity Network’s REE, which is designed to bring programmability and interoperability to Bitcoin’s base layer. While confirmations still provide the final settlement, the system makes transactions usable right away, giving users the speed they expect while keeping the security model intact.

The return of Flash Trade reflects an ongoing push to make DeFi on Bitcoin more practical for everyday use. Faster liquidity moves could encourage more activity, but the model will face scrutiny from those who prioritise the chain’s conservative security culture. For now, RichSwap is pitching the feature as a way to combine Bitcoin’s underlying reliability with the convenience traders have grown accustomed to on other networks.

Users interested can access Flash Trade directly through RichSwap and test how the faster flow fits into their own trading strategies.
