Nvidia, a global AI chip leader, and the United States National Science Foundation (NSF) have joined forces to launch the National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource (NAIRR) pilot. Nvidia commits $30 million in technology contributions over the next two years, emphasizing its dedication to advancing AI research.
The NAIRR pilot is set to leverage insights from researchers using Nvidia’s platforms, aiming to enhance the efficacy of technology. Nvidia will contribute its cutting-edge resources, including the NVIDIA DGX Cloud AI supercomputing and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software. The collaboration extends to 10 additional partners within the U.S. government, including the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
