Pup Arcade Goes Live: Kyle Stoflet Brings Playful Utility to Runes with Caffeine

Kyle Stoflet has quietly unveiled an ingenious twist on runes by building the Pup Arcade using Caffeine, and it’s delightfully simple. In under half an hour, plus a casual 15 minutes tinkering, he put together an arcade featuring five mini-games themed around “pup • wif • woof • of • work.” He even livestreamed the entire session—links included below.

One of the highlights: in just four minutes, he added a fun new Whack-a-Pup feature aimed at delighting the hash•dog community with an extra layer of playful interaction.

There’s a clever gatekeeper at work too: the arcade opens only for users who’ve bought PUP tokens from RichSwap in the past hour. It’s a nifty blend of reward and access, all wrapped up in bright, pup-centric whimsy.

Looking ahead, Stoflet plans to continue refining the Pup Arcade, exploring how runes and Caffeine can be used to layer utility onto playful experiences. His next idea already has traction—he’s aiming to develop a “Tamagotchi-style” game with a Runes-subscription service baked in, hoping to bring it to life before the week is out.

This isn’t just a tech demo; it’s an experiment in how minimal code, fast iteration and live feedback can turn blockchain tokens into something interactive—and fun. The Pup Arcade might be small, but it’s a neat reflection of how creativity and utility can merge, especially when you’ve got the right tools and a little bit of inspiration.
