President Trump Says Wars Could Be Fought “Forever” With ‘Virtually Unlimited’ U.S. Weapons Supply

President Donald J. Trump declared Tuesday that the United States possesses a “virtually unlimited” supply of munitions, claiming current stockpiles are strong enough to sustain military conflicts indefinitely.

In a late-night post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump said U.S. munitions stockpiles at the “medium and upper medium grade” have “never been higher or better,” adding that wars can be fought “forever” and successfully using existing supplies.

“We have a virtually unlimited supply of these weapons,” Trump wrote, asserting that U.S. stockpiles surpass those of other nations. He also stated that while high-end weapons reserves are “good,” they are “not where we want them to be,” noting that additional high-grade weaponry is stored in allied countries abroad.

Trump sharply criticized former President Joe Biden, accusing him of depleting American weapons reserves through extensive military aid to Ukraine. He alleged that hundreds of billions of dollars were spent and that high-end weapons were transferred without being adequately replenished.

The president maintained that he rebuilt the U.S. military during his first term and pledged to continue strengthening it. “The United States is stocked, and ready to WIN, BIG!!!” he wrote.

Defense analysts note that while the U.S. maintains one of the world’s largest and most advanced military stockpiles, the sustainability of long-term conflicts depends on complex factors including industrial production capacity, supply chain resilience, and congressional funding.

The Pentagon has not yet issued an official statement responding to the president’s remarks.

This is a developing story.
