Liquidium adds Ethereum deposits, streamlining funding process

Ethereum deposit addresses are now live on Liquidium, allowing users to fund accounts directly from hardware wallets and centralised exchanges without routing assets through an intermediary wallet.

The update reduces the number of steps typically required to move funds onto the platform, a process that has often involved transferring assets through supported hot wallets before reaching their final destination. By removing that layer, Liquidium is positioning the change as a usability improvement aimed at both new and experienced users.

Direct deposits from devices such as Ledger wallets are expected to appeal to users who prioritise security and prefer to limit the number of transactions when moving funds. It may also reduce transaction fees and the risk of errors that can occur when handling multiple transfers.

The move comes as platforms across the crypto sector continue to refine onboarding and funding processes, an area that has long been cited as a barrier to wider adoption.
