Internet Computer has taken the top spot in a new snapshot of DePIN projects ranked by social activity, according to figures shared by CryptoDep using LunarCrush analytics.
The chart, dated 2 February 2026, places ICP ahead of other well-known decentralised physical infrastructure networks including Render, World Mobile and Arweave. CryptoDep’s data points to roughly 2,220 posts and around 357,000 interactions over the measured period, giving ICP the highest social dominance score among the projects listed.
Social activity rankings are often viewed as a rough indicator of community attention rather than a direct measure of adoption or technical progress. Still, the result highlights how visible the Internet Computer ecosystem has become in online discussion, particularly as DePIN continues to grow as a sector focused on decentralising real-world infrastructure through blockchain networks.
Analysts generally caution that social engagement can be driven by many factors, from product updates and developer announcements to market speculation. High interaction levels do not automatically translate into long-term usage, but they can reflect momentum, especially when paired with active development and expanding applications.
Supporters of ICP point to its broader ambitions beyond DePIN alone, including decentralised applications, on-chain services and infrastructure that runs directly on the network without relying heavily on traditional cloud providers. The project’s community has remained highly active across social platforms, often amplifying ecosystem launches, governance proposals and developer milestones.
At the same time, competition within DePIN remains intense. Projects such as Render and World Mobile continue to build in their respective niches, while Arweave maintains a strong presence in decentralised storage. The rankings underline a crowded field where attention shifts quickly depending on news flow and market cycles.
For Internet Computer, leading the social activity table is a reminder of its strong community footprint at the start of February. Whether that translates into sustained growth will depend less on online volume and more on continued delivery across real-world use cases, developer uptake and network demand.
