Oisy Adds ICP Payments and Korean Support in Latest Update

Oisy has rolled out version 1.9.11, introducing a set of updates that expand its usability while refining parts of the user experience. The release brings support for Internet Computer Protocol payments through OpenCryptoPay, alongside interface improvements and broader accessibility features.

One of the headline additions is ICP integration within OpenCryptoPay, allowing users to make everyday purchases using the token. The update includes support for payments at retailers such as SPAR, pointing to a practical use case that moves beyond trading and into routine transactions. While crypto payments in retail settings remain uneven across regions, the inclusion reflects ongoing efforts to position digital assets within daily spending habits.

The update also introduces Korean language support, widening access for users in South Korea and Korean-speaking communities. Localisation has been an ongoing focus for many wallet and application providers, particularly as adoption spreads across different regions with varying user expectations.

Several changes in the release focus on usability. The activity page has been updated to present EVM transactions in a cleaner format, making it easier for users to track interactions across networks. Token sorting has also been refined, aiming to surface assets in a more intuitive order based on relevance or usage.

Login through Internet Identity has been adjusted as well, with a tidier flow intended to reduce friction during sign-in. Improvements in this area are often incremental, though they can have a noticeable effect on how frequently users engage with an application.

Taken together, the update reflects a steady approach to development, combining new functionality with interface adjustments. The addition of ICP payments through OpenCryptoPay stands out as a practical extension, while the other changes focus on making the application easier to navigate.

Oisy’s latest release does not introduce sweeping changes, but it continues to build on existing features with an emphasis on accessibility and everyday use.
