ICPSwap has introduced a series of updates aimed at refining usability and addressing technical issues, as the platform continues to evolve within the Internet Computer ecosystem.
Among the latest additions is a “New Tokens and Pools (72h)” feature, designed to give users a clearer view of recently launched tokens and liquidity pools. The tool provides a snapshot of activity over the past three days, offering traders and developers a way to track new entries in a fast-moving market.
User interface changes have also been introduced, including smoother tab switching and updated loading animations. While these adjustments may appear minor, they reflect ongoing efforts to make navigation more responsive and intuitive, particularly for users managing multiple transactions or exploring new assets.
Feedback from the community has influenced several updates within the swap interface. Users can now pin selected tokens to the top of their list, making repeated access easier. In addition, token ledger IDs are displayed when the interface is idle, a detail aimed at improving transparency and helping users verify asset information more efficiently.
On the technical side, a previously reported issue involving repeated clicks on the “Add Liquidity” function has been resolved. The bug had caused multiple pop-up windows to appear, disrupting the user experience. Its removal is part of a broader set of fixes focused on stability.
The team is also testing the migration of swap pool canisters to a lower-load subnet, a move that could improve performance under higher demand. Such adjustments are often part of backend optimisation efforts, particularly on networks where computational load can vary across different subnets.
While these updates focus largely on usability and performance rather than new financial products, they highlight a continued emphasis on incremental improvement. In decentralised platforms, where user trust often depends on reliability and clarity, such changes can play a role in shaping long-term engagement.
Further refinements are expected as ICPSwap continues to respond to user feedback and adapt to the demands of the Internet Computer network.
